Two Shelby County Sheriff's Office deputies, including one who previously helped rescue children from a frozen pond, have reportedly been placed on leave after they were arrested. According to the Memphis Police Department, 30-year-old Jhyunn Armstrong and 27-year-old Israel Muhammad were arrested on Sunday morning. The Memphis Police reports that officers responded to a home on Morning Shadow Drive in Cordova just before 1:30 a.m. Armstrong and Israel were reportedly detained on the scene.
