Germany's Lufthansa Group has entered the bidding race for the Portuguese state airline TAP, a spokesman for the Frankfurt-based company said on Thursday. A non-binding offer has been submitted as a first step, the spokesman said.

The messaging shows the challenges Israel faces and also raises the question of whether it is better to use the holiday to draw contrasts with the region or to celebrate unity. Israeli leaders have issued messages celebrating Christmas this year.

The eight generic products are made by K..C. Pharmaceuticals, and sold under store brand names.
